My name is Jay Reedy from Erin, Tennessee, I am your State Representative for the 74th District. I am married to Vickie Reedy, who is a teacher at Houston County High School and we have three children. We attend the church at the Erin church of Christ.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Austin Peay State University. I am also a certified locksmith from Assured Locksmith Training in Florida.
I am a Master Beef Certified cattle farmer in Houston County as well as the owner/operator of Houston County Lock & Key.
I served our Country as an enlisted soldier in the U.S. Army and was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
I have been a life member of the National Rifle Association since 1986, as well as a life member of the Tennessee Firearms Association, and a life member of the North American Hunting Club since 1985.
“Education has been and will continue to be an important part of me and my family’s lives. Our State must continue to move forward in education without being impeded by the federal government. We must stand together against federally mandated programs that are detrimental to our way of life in Tennessee and stand tall in our support for proper interpretation of our Constitution as it was drawn up by our founding fathers who had a strong belief in God.”
